Labs WebCam Go Plus Digital Video Camera Features
- 8MB
Built-in Memory
A 8MB of built-in memory (6MB for stills/videos and 2MB for audio) allows
you to store more than 200 images (at 640 x 480 resolution) & more than
400 images (at 320 x 240 resolution). There are also no hassles or need
for diskettes or memory cards. Since it's non-volatile, you won't lose
your captured images if the camera's batteries are drained or removed.
- Digital
Voice Annotation
The digital voice annotation feature lets you add your thoughts to your
snapshots and create photos that literally talk! Or, use it to record
any brilliant thoughts you have, like last minute additions to your
shopping list.
- CMOS
Sensor
The improved lens and sensor produces brighter and clearer pictures
than ever before.
- Many
other cameras use an inferior CCD sensor. CMOS offers better color reproduction
than CCD, particularly in capturing skin tones. CMOS sensors are also
less sensitive to "hot spots" caused by uneven lighting.
- Four
Image Capture Modes
When using the WebCam Go Plus in portable modes, you have the flexibility
of four image capture modes, each instantly selectable with the mode
selector button on the back of the camera.
- Capture
Stills and Video
Grab video at up to 30 frames per second while you’re at your PC. Or
use multi-frame mode to automatically capture images as quickly as 24
per second when you’re on the go. It’s perfect for capturing outdoor
sports action, or creating "mini-movies."
- LCD
control panel
A monochrome LCD on the back of the camera operates in portable mode.
It displays the approximate number of frames left in memory, voice recording
timer mode indicator (single frame, multiple frame, timed frame or timed
multiple frame), and a low-battery indicator.
- Multi-Function
Status LED
When the camera is attached to your PC, an LED on the front of the camera
lights up to let you know that the driver is loaded and the camera is
operational. When you're using the camera on the go, it flashes when
the image is taken and flashes to count down in timed frame mode.
- Extra
Long Battery Life
Uses standard 2 AAA alkaline batteries for convenience. The batteries
are used only when the camera is in portable mode. The battery lifespan
is good for up to 300 exposures.
- Sleek
Compact Design
Small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, it is designed for easy portability
anytime and anywhere and for easy operation with one-hand.
- Optical
Viewfinder
Use the optical viewfinder to "frame" your snapshots in portable mode.
- Audio
confirmation of image capture
When using the camera on the go, an audio signal lets you know when
the camera has completed capturing an image.
- Power-saving
delay
This unique option allows you to set a duration in seconds, to automatically
switch-off the camera, when not in use, to help conserve battery life
when used on the move.
